Bunny Hendricks & Nancy Grout:
Take your riding to the next level! There will be a riding clinic following testing. This is a great opportunity to ride with a National Examiner (NE). Bunny Hendricks has done it all in Pony Club and is very well respected. (See Bio below) Checks for the clinic will also be held until the clinic. The clinic will be cancelled if there are not enough entrants. There will be flat and jumping groups, and rides are $80 each.
Bunny Hendricks Bio: Bunny is a U.S. Pony Club graduate A member of Difficult Run PC, Virginia Region and transferred to Suncoast PC, Sunshine Region after moving to Florida to begin college. She has worn several hats in Pony Club (all ASTM SEI approved, of course :-) ), including being a National Examiner (for over 25 years), a former Chief Horse Management Judge (25 years), instructor/clinician (even more years!), member of the National Testing, C3 Program, and Horse Management Committees a couple of times each, former chair of the Written Test Committee and D1-C2 Program Committee, rally coach and Festival Clinician as well.
In 2004 she was honored to be named a USPC Legend of Instruction.
Nancy Grout Bio: Nancy is a graduate A from Squamscott Pony Club near the Seacoast of New Hampshire. She followed her sister Lori, also a graduate A, into the horse world. Nancy began showing medium pony hunters and participating in 4-H. Pony Club instruction introduced her to Dressage and Eventing, which led to several regional and national A and B rallies. She continues to event and to compete in Eventing and Dressage in the New England area. Nationally, she has served as a RIC, Chief Horse Management Judge, Horse Management Committee member, Instruction Committee member, Chair of the former C-3/HB Committee, and National Examiner Committee member.
Currently, she serves as a National Examiner, VP of Instruction, and Board member serving on various committees. An early accolade was election into the first class of USPC Legends. Of all the activities, Nancy enjoys the instructional aspect and interaction with members of all levels. Her 35+ years (and still counting) in the educational field allow her to develop curricula, instructional practices, and assessments at the junior high through collegiate level.
