Foxhunting
The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. was founded in 1954 by a group of foxhunters. A happy child on a happy pony (or horse) is the goal of Pony Club, and the hunt field is a great place to find many of these pairs!
Foxhunting is a mounted sport that dates back hundreds of years. Mounted riders chase wild game with a pack of hounds across the countryside. Riders navigate through open terrain, across creeks and streams, over logs and other natural obstacles, and even through woods and thickets. Foxhunting can be enjoyed by all ages and levels of riding.

The Long Lake Hounds are dedicated to preserving the sport of drag hunting in Minnesota. They welcome everyone who wants to share their passion for enjoying the beautiful country, riding their beloved horses and watching the hounds work as a pack. They are especially dedicated to offering an exciting experience for Pony Clubbers and juniors, people who have never tried hunting before and those who left the sport and want to come back.
