NLR's Switch Ride Clinic - 2025

A big part of the upper levels is riding new and unfamiliar horses; this clinic aims to provide that opportunity to members looking towards the upper levels. Participants in this clinic will get the chance to ride a variety of horses at a variety of training levels in a variety of disciplines.

Who:       D3 Riding Certification and 12+ years of age.

When:     March 22-23, 2025

Cost:        $120 for Riding
                 $175 for Riding and Lodging at Farm
                 $15 Auditing/Day, $25 for both Days
                 $80 Auditing and Lodging at Farm

What's Included? Clinic includes 4 sessions working with various horses. Limited space available for lodging; first-come, first-served. Breakfast items, snacks, and lunch included for both days.

Details: 
Rides will be shorter, focusing on how to assess horses, change training methods, deal with adversity, and understand different riding and training techniques. Focus will primarily be on the flat, prioritizing biomechanics and way of moving of the horses along with the rider’s position. These skills are necessary not just for Pony Club but also for assessing horses for purchase, demonstrating horses for sale, and more.
